Coach's
Coach's Restaurants, founded in 1996 by Oklahoma locals, were developed with the desire to offer the public uniquely created handcrafted ales in an energetic, fun, sports environment. The partners, including Heisman trophy winner Steve Owens, added a Midwestern theme of everything from BBQ and pizza to outstanding steaks, sandwiches and salads to their menu. Coach's has three locations. Each location contains its own unique sports memorabilia, including Heisman trophy winners, autographed footballs, champion prize fighters boxing gloves, baseball bats and more. The first restaurant which opened in historic, downtown Norman is located a mile and a half from Oklahoma University, home of the National Champion Sooners. The Norman location also includes 16 regulation sized billiard tables and houses Coach's brewery system. This system is responsible for supplying the rest of the restaurants with its popular handcrafted ales. The second restaurant opened in Oklahoma City’s historic Bricktown District. It includes two spacious patios and overlooks the Bricktown Ballpark, home of the Oklahoma Redhawks. The newest location, in Edmond, opened it doors in September of 2003. The diverse menu and kid friendly atmosphere have made the Edmond location a dining destination for many families. Their 15 televisions including 60" LCD high definition and 50" projection models ensure that everyone has a view of that big game! Coach's is open year round providing lavish catering, from 2-2000, including everything from private business parties to birthdays and bridal showers.
